Raghu's Biryani Drive

I made a medium sized order with Raghu for Biryani for 30 ppl. He explained some steps involved in Biryani making process and gave me a freshly made sample of chicken dum Biryani. It is the best dum Biryani I've had in lower mainland. The chicken pieces were juicy and had a well cooked flavor to them. The rice was soft and flavorful. It was something I've never had in Canada and I wanted to finish the sampler right then and there. Truly thankful I found this delicious place and will be visiting there to pick up Biryani whenvr I drive by Coquitlam

The long-grain basmati rice is cooked perfectly, each grain separate and full of flavor. The chicken is tender, juicy, and well-marinated, absorbing the spices beautifully. The masala is authentic and balanced, giving a deep, traditional taste without being overpowering. The portion size is generous and totally worth the price. We first tried Raghu’s food at a friend’s birthday party and loved it. When we asked, they told us it was from Raghu’s and gave a great review themselves. That’s when we decided to contact Raghu’s Biryani for our own order for my daughter’s birthday dinner and it was absolutely worth it. We ended up ordering again in October for my son’s birthday because the first experience was so good. The biryani was fresh, flavourful, and had no artificial colours. The Manchuria was great, and the Shahi Tukda became everyone’s favourite dessert. None of us had any stomach issues, which is so important when feeding guests and kids. This time we also tried the gulab jamun, and it instantly became a hit with the kids ,very fresh and soft. The eggplant curry (gutti vankaya) was a favourite among the adults, the cut mirchi had the perfect kick, and the parathas were soft without being oily. Portions were very generous, enough for all guests, with plenty left to pack for home. Prices were reasonable, and the service was timely, which made hosting two birthdays so much easier. Overall, genuinely good food and dependable service. We will definitely order from Raghu’s again.
